Description

In a 3-months exam simulation, I lead a team of 8 students as Project Manager for the development of “CoralloSmart”, a web app.

I was responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of a specific project, ensuring that it is completed on time, within budget, and meets the project's objectives.

Tasks:

• Defining project goals and objectives: work with stakeholders to define the project goals and objectives, which includes identifying the scope, timeline, and budget of the project.
• Developing a project plan: develop a detailed project plan, which outlines the tasks, resources, and timelines required to complete the project.
• Allocating resources: ensure that the necessary resources, including personnel, equipment, and budget, are available to complete the project.
• Monitoring project progress: monitor the progress of the project, tracking the completion of tasks, identifying and resolving issues, and reporting to stakeholders.
• Managing project risks: identify potential risks to the project and develops strategies to mitigate them.
• Managing project communications: ensure that communication is effective among team members, stakeholders, and other relevant parties, by setting up regular meetings, using appropriate communication channels, and updating project documentation.
• Managing project budget: track the project budget, making sure that it is used effectively, and makes adjustments as necessary.
• Managing project scope: ensure that the project stays within its defined scope and does not deviate from the objectives.
• Managing project quality: ensure that the project respects the standard quality.
